The Beauty Of Rara Is Outstanding 

Rara also known as the beauty of nature, lies far north-western part of Nepal. It is situated at an altitude of 2990m from the sea level. surrounded by the green mountain. Hiking to Rara lake is breathe taking views.


Rara national reservation park is under the control of the Nepalese Army. Here we can find more than 500 different types of flowers, more than 20 different types of mammal Spices, and 250 types of different kinds of bird species are found and can observe. the way to go Rara.  
If you are traveling by flight, you will have transit you have to book a ticket from Kathmandu to Nepal- Jung and from Nepaljung to Jumla or to Talcha Domestic Airport. As Kathmandu flight is scheduled as its timing however NepalJung flight isn't scheduled, it depends upon the weather of  Jumla and Talcha. 
if you are planning to travel by bus or jeep or whatever personal vehicle. you have to make a schedule from Kathmandu to Surkhet one night and from Surkhet to Takcha one night, whichever your choice you need to hike around 3- 4 hours to reach the base of Rara lake. 

The road from Kathmandu to Surkhet is already known as the highway, can freely travel without any inconvenience.  But from Surkhet to Magma, it is gravel and quite good. but from Magma road starts non-paved and is totally rough till Kakbeni. (it is a travel of about 6-7 hours if you are lucky and traveling by bus). however, from Kakbeni to nearby Talcha Airport around 4-5 km road is fully pitched by the government of India. anyway, the road doesn't end at the lake, so we have to hike for at least four hours.
People are visiting Rara these years, cause it is one of the best and mind-blowing places for hiking. its wonderful beauty attracts tourists to visit once in a lifetime. While traveling to Mugu, we can see tremendous people with their traditions and culture. Jumla and Mugu have divided into ten users of communities. Out of ten communities, you can find seven in Mugu communities and three in Jumla communities. The nearest village to Rara lake is Talcha.
Rara national reservation park is under the control of the Nepalese army. so there are some rules and regulations to hike around the park that has to be followed; if not then the army will take action upon our deeds. 
villagers have given facilities for horse riding from the village to Rara lake that has to be paid it takes about an hour to reach the lake. The army also has provided paid- boating system. swimming is strictly prohibited and no one allows to harm or kill the spices of the national park. if anyone would do something like that then they will be charged under the section of the Nepalese -government as per the rule. the park occurred about 106 sq. km of its land.
Once you reach Rara you can feel like it is situated on the lap of mountains, paddle boat riding is available if you are traveling in the season and its season starts in September, and then you will get opportunities to ride a horse till Rara lake you don't have to walk if you are more really to walk, can take an outstanding portrait of Rara by your camera or drone, tourist go there for their entertainment, relaxation and some for their thesis.
